July post :) (unfinished drawing)

Good evening, hisashiburi da ne! it's been a while since my last post 

this time i post my recent (unfinished) drawing. i drew this manually on a paper, scanned it and coloring it thru photoshop but without my graphic tablet. i use mouse only :D 

okay let me share my hard time coloring it :p 

the main weapon of using this method is polygonal lasso~ plus clipping mask technique 

as i know many expert animator or illustrator using mouse rather than graphic tablet, and their works still awesome. and that makes me want to try this method. but i think this method only for anime or cartoon style, i don't think we can coloring realism with this method. well i've tried it but failed XD 

while coloring this picture i stick my eyes into my lappy's LCD and keep glaring on it LOL.

my old difficulties are shadow, choosing tone and light direction disorder >____< 

i will finish the rest of the details including shadows soon~ and make a new sketch again. 

to be honest, i have another personal project = a pixel art, but still undone....... i'm dying of its skin tone and gradient tone :"<

recently i'm fascinated him  Ulrik Munther Swedish song writer and performer

no wonder why i like his. he is simply cute and handsome ( さすがスウェーデン人笑。。。) he make my fingers dancing on the paper (LOL what is that XD) i want to draw him more :p and i already made a character based on his appearance. nah this is the painted version of the sketch version i frustrated when i tried to texturing his knitted hat m(_ _)m realism style is soooo difficult but challenging. at least i can coloring beautiful lips (read : juicy XD)

Good evening!

today i'll post some pics as i mentioned before, several sketches. nah these are two of many sketches i've made. i planned to scan those at my office but because one and another reason i postpone my plan and take a photo via my digicam :) 

who's the model as reference? he is Ulrik Munther my favorite singer from Sweden.

in this picture he ate a cinnamon bun (idk but he looks like love cinnamon bun very much, because he mentioned "cinnamon" related on a local tv program several months ago) i love his smile :) if you don't believe me, just check the original photo :3

he was took a walk trough Gamla stan, his pose reminds me to "Jack the Frost" from The Rise of The Guardians.i like his gaze, looks so cool and mysterious lol. he also wear knitted cap. as we know his fashion style is quite unique, like an oldish people. but it suits to him and i like it very much! don't forget to check the original photo of him in instagram :)

good evening everyone :) today i'll post my recent drawings, here we go!! 

Chibi Daichi Miura a singer, lyricist, dancer and choreographer from Japan

a request from my online friend, Imada - san, she loves him so much. The main idea of the pose of this picture is D.M's butt lower body lol, so i drew this when i have spare time at office, and she loved the original sketch, so i made this picture as CG :p my original sketch was too rough 

Yulina's Request 

He asked me to draw a self portrait of him, and the pose based on conan's pose (meintantei conan). actually i traced the pose and expand the body width, and i draw the face with a photo as reference. I'm using SAI paint tool. idk why but i love this program, very user friendly. when i use photoshop my laptop lagged +_+ don't say that i have to upgrade my laptop......

the second one is banner, he also asked me to make banner : a sky blue with glowing effect, and this is the result. i made this by using photoshop. very easy to make :) 

Koma Manga (4 panels manga) 

recently i documented all of scene that happen at my office and put some improvisation dialogue, start from trivia things until ero joke scene (LMAO) and trying to make that as a manga. once again i drew this by using SAI paint tool

actually i also draw several object , about 5 - 6 sketches (as usual the objects are human :p) but since i don't have any scanner i can't upload it now :|

Game portal and original vector character

happy sunday everyone :) 

today i'll post something (again) lol

its about a layout. i'm not good on it but i tried because i have to as a requirement even it was completely rejected, because my design is ugly (lol) 

a layout of a mobile game portal, consist of 3 main menu: home, profile and games. 

the second one is a vector that represents me (of course this is very me, because i made this based on my personality lol) at first i didn't have any plan to make vector character, but my friend asked me to make our gang member's character and print it on a t-shirt for KL trip. i had made 8 of characters (5 or 6 characters have done) as my friend instructed. but in the middle of the process she changed her mind and made all of the characters by herself. so i won't publish the rest character except mine since they were completely not needed anymore (or i can say those are failed characters lol)

hello spring

Good evening everyone :) 

today i'll post a new picture, i drew this picture less than an hour and this is about w-inds. :D 

several days ago i read a tutorial web about "chibi 1D" and i thinking 

"I'll do same thing, but the object is w-inds. not 1D" 

and this is the result, as we know now is spring season in Japan and several countries but not in my country (Indonesia) so thats why i added some sakura petals

this time i will post something little different, i drew an original character :)) 

i use sai paint tool because it really user friendly, i should try to use photoshop too to sharpen my skill on it.

i drew this spontaneously after i watched a speed drawing tutorial in youtube, and i i've got an idea "why i don't try to draw similar thing with my own style?" and this is the result.

i need to smooth the gradient, line etc, because it still rough anywhere 

 " He is an Archer, a silly noble man, bad temper, bad mouth, afraid of woman, kind hearted, self conscious, with strong will :3 he own fire element " his name is chránič ( chraanich ) taken from Czech language that means " the protector"

1. Kaede Rukawa (SLAM DUNK)

i've drew this picture about 3-4 years ago, and i painted this last week. actually i made this for (cough) someone i liked before  my old friend's birthday, an elementary school mate. he adored rukawa so much and called him self as Mr rukawa, i prefer hanamichi than rukawa :p 

The original one, rukawa raises a half sphere shape cake, not like this. i reconstructed this picture just for 

w-inds. because last thursday 3.14 was their 12th anniversary :3

2. KEITA & RYUICHI ( w-inds.) 

i added color to this picture, quite frustrating to add some colors esp skin tone....

3. REALISM 

lately ive been addicted to realism style, because i was never ever able to draw in this style. but i want to try and this is the result. to be really honest i'm disappointed with the result

the giant one is KEITA, and the small one is ryuichi. i dressed them as they worn in current time.

Super Deformed aka Chibi

hello everyone ^^, it's been a while :D

I'll tell you something, recently i've liked a non japanese singer. and both of them are from same country : sweden. 

the first one is seremedy, a swedish  Visual kei band

the second one is Ulrik Munther, a soloist singer. as i knew he had been called the "justin bieber" from europe. yeah no doubt, all off his song is written by himself, and he has a clearr~~~~ voice <3. 

that's the prologue :p 

nah the pictures that i upload today is related to seremedy's guitarist named "RAY". at first i'm not into him 'm into YOHIO at first" , but i found that he has such of interesting character, funny, lil bit cruel, sarcasm, but he has such soft heart *as i know* he will fainted if he see a spider, a big LOL for me. with giant and manly body but scared of small creature called spider :p

nah this is the first picture of him that i've made. 

i using wacom intuos 4 as usual, SAI paint tool, but only using 2 layers >___< it was kinda hard, i must draw with carefully and using extra energy plus brain :DDD

the second one i finished this early morning, i finished this and went to sleep about 3.00 am >_____< 
before i started to drew this, i've searching a tutorial in deviant art, about "chibi tutorial" and i found 1 interesting tutorial that explained the tips and tricks how to made chibi version, and this is it the result. not bad right? :p i using multi layers (about 10 layers maybe)

and i will made the another one chibi of RAY coz i think he is the most easy to draw ;p in different pose and outfit. wish me luck ya ^^

hello every one, its been a while i did't update my blog.

today i will post something about cinema 4d *of course its the title of this post XD*

several months ago i found a video tutorial, it was a graphic related tutorial. and i saw a "cinema 4d" i was interested. then i search for it after that i found something interesting. there is a site, tutorials treasure called greyscalegorilla from this site we can learn anything.

just browse from tutorial tag, and you'll be amazed XD

this is one of graphic that i made from one of tutorial that greyscalegorilla provides.

not really satisfied with what i've done coz my laptop was lagging while rendering this * i wanted a video render at first*

hello every one,  this evening i will post about cg-ing line art

basically its "only coloring" the picture, BUT its QUITE COMPLEX than i thought. it takes more than 4 hours this is the third time i coloring. -i didn't make any improvement- =3= and the key just 1 be patience XD

another clay figurine

good evening everyone ^^ glad to meet you all. today i post about figurine (again) XD 

i seems addicted to make chibi figurine (i'm fired up to make this  because the object is w-inds. related -- oops i'm too subjective lol) this is the second time i made w-inds. figurine related. just for information, i've been made figurines since i was in college (about 3-4 years ago) i learning by doing, because there no local books related to clay human-chibi figurine style. 

nah, i made KT figurine as a commission from my old friend :) she asked me could i made KT's figurine. the process of making this figurine quite fast XD i only spent 3-4 days to finish. even the model quite complex on its sleeve. but i can say this well done XD

when i using this figurine as my display picture on my blackberry messenger some people asking about this XD

good evening every one , today i'll talk about something quite extra ordinary but still in art related thing 

what is figurine?

honestly i have made several figurines before, because that's my side job. in the other word yes i'm crafter XD but, this is the first time i made for my self and i chose w-inds. ofcourse because i love them so much!

then this is it w-inds. MLT figurines 

and the next picture is the one inspired me to make w-inds. figurine. ah this picture drew by kikka san you can go to her blog  here she is an amazing illustrator! i like all of her character, design XD i wish i could be her someday ofcourse i need more hard work

compared to the picture, i think my figurines are'n't good enough.... but i will keep on practice, because practice makes better!
