July post :) (unfinished drawing)

Good evening, hisashiburi da ne! it's been a while since my last post 

this time i post my recent (unfinished) drawing. i drew this manually on a paper, scanned it and coloring it thru photoshop but without my graphic tablet. i use mouse only :D 

okay let me share my hard time coloring it :p 

the main weapon of using this method is polygonal lasso~ plus clipping mask technique 

as i know many expert animator or illustrator using mouse rather than graphic tablet, and their works still awesome. and that makes me want to try this method. but i think this method only for anime or cartoon style, i don't think we can coloring realism with this method. well i've tried it but failed XD 

while coloring this picture i stick my eyes into my lappy's LCD and keep glaring on it LOL.

my old difficulties are shadow, choosing tone and light direction disorder >____< 

i will finish the rest of the details including shadows soon~ and make a new sketch again. 

to be honest, i have another personal project = a pixel art, but still undone....... i'm dying of its skin tone and gradient tone :"<
